bouncing check, nuts and such

Ugh, it was a bad day yesterday.
I bounced a check! How on earth could that happen? I hardly ever make accounting mistakes. The notice came in the mail and I looked at it with wonder and confusion. I figured it out a little later in the day but it rocked my world.
I had to answer the phones today at work. Not a big deal but it was the 3rd week of the month. "My husband and 3 kids need a 1 bedroom apartment, by the way we are staying in a shelter now." Oh, can't do a family in a 1 bedroom, I can do a 2 bedroom. Why are you in a shelter? "My husband got sick and lost his job, the apartment asked us to leave." Oh, so you got EVICTED? "No, we couldn't pay rent and they asked us to leave, then put it on our credit report." Clueless.
Took the dog for a run yesterday in the park. He loves to go exploring in the park. We saw one of his play friends so he was tired out by the time we got home.
Out to dinner with Cranky Amy last night. Went for Pho (hot noodle soup). It was fun until I took a drink of water and woosh, the ice and water went down the front of my shirt then into my lap. I was soaked. Decided to go home and go to dreamland early.
