I couldn’t drag myself out of bed
12/08/2002

I was cleaned up, hair dried and I ran out of steam. I headed back to bed with Saba. I just could not get my act together to head to work.

I got up around 3:30 to get ready for a party. Linda, Kramer’s friend was having a get together. I gassed up the car, it was North Austin after all, and picked Kramer up. We had a detour to Fry’s Electronics. He had to return some stuff and I found this little groovy camera. It was playing with it last night but YOU can not see the photos. Stop that, I was in my Pajamas, that’s all.

Linda’s party was full of New Age, crystal gazing, horriscope reading people. It was an interesting gathering to say the least. I like Linda a lot and just adore her husband. I need to find out where she found that model. Kramer and I headed out after they started talking about Hypno-birthing. Give me a break, if I ever have a kid I will have the drugs hooked up long before the labor starts.

Talked to Mom this morning, sounds like her parents are not doing well. Devota Mae is in the hospital. I guess she took a tumble and Grandpa forgot he had one of those life alert things on and headed to the neighbors to get help. 911, ambulance and a ride to the hospital. I guess Grandma is doing OK but they put her in a care facility. I think that might be best for her. She has lost her marbles and Grandpa is having a hard time taking care of her. Same sort of thing last year. Social Services got involved last year and got grandma some in home care. I hate to admit this but I haven’t talked to them in ages. I got tired of Grandpa hanging up the phone on me. I was never all that close to them when I was young . Grandpa was working , traveling and living in other countries. (more to follow on that story when I get some time to do research.)
