I was busy cleaning yesterday morning

I am getting ready for Mom to arrive. I have cleaned the house, bought a few groceries and generally spruced the place up.
I told mom not to expect Mom Clean, but it is in better shape after yesterdays busy work. No, I am not that messy but with Saba, the mud gets tracked in and out of the house constantly. After the company leaves, I will be ripping out the carpet in the living room. I just can’t keep it clean. I think I will tile the floors and just keep a broom and a mop handy.
Mom gets her at noon, and then it is off to lunch. I still have to make up the bed and drag a few things out to the barn for storage when she is here. Brother will get here sometime next week, he is flying into Houston to visit friends there and then heading up to Austin. I told him he has to be here for Mass on Christmas eve. 9:30 p.m.
