Wow 5 guys can get a lot of work done in 2 days.

Did I mentioned that I was going to have some work done on the house? It’s done.
The only problem I have with construction workers is they start so dam early. Be ready by 7:30 am for the group to knock on your door.
No more carpet in the living room. I put down tile, it matches the kitchen tile. Wow does my little house look big now. I now have a big closet in the bathroom and a pantry in the kitchen. I had been looking for a pantry for about 4 years now and couldn’t find one that fit. The guys took the measurements and headed off to Home Depot. The plan was to make a pantry because the end of the kitchen counter is an odd size. Instead of materials, they found a laundry cabinet that fits perfect in the kitchen. Same manufacturer as the other cabinets, same style and color. Prefabricated just put it together and slide it in. I guess I never looked in the laundry section.
They put in a new wall in the bedroom, 2x4’s sheet rock and paint. They re hung the door in the bath to work the other way and now I have this big closet for sheets, towels, vacuum cleaner, and assorted stuff. I am so excited. I had the choice when I remodeled the house and went with a hall instead of a closet. Two days later I now have a closet.
After the workmen departed yesterday I took a few hours to get the house back together. I should have been at work. I did go in for a few hours and got some of the work done but not what I needed to get done. I don’t know why I am having trouble getting this one big task done this month. I headed over to cranky’s for a get together she was having. I ended up purchasing a few candle holders and some candles. I had not intended to spend much money, it was a Tupperware type party with samples and catalogs. I ordered something from the clearance catalog I think will look good in the living room an this hanging thing for the bedroom.
Today’s plan: church, breakfast, Wall mart for purple curtains in the office and a meeting for SXSW.
