So I am not going to FL

Spoke to Mom on the phone last night, after a long conversation with her, I feel OK with not going. I don’t think there will be much for me to do.
My aunt and her husband, 2 cousins and Mom will be descending on FL this morning. I imagine there will be a big brouhaha within the family. I got some phone numbers for Mom last night. I got numbers for cleaning services and carpet installers. I am not feeling all to well today and there is no way I will get on a plane for the flights. I understand my aunt and her husband will be performing some sort of memorial service at the condo club house. Sounds a little strange to me.
I think my Mom will stay in FL for a few weeks. There is some sort of hearing set up for the 22nd regarding my grandfather and a guardianship. Again staying way out of everything. I will only go if for some strange reason I was appointed to the executrix for the will. For some reason I think Grandpa would do this to me. I was the only family member he ever spoke money with.
On a happier front, I watched Joe Millionaire again last night. Gosh, those money grubbing wenches. I thought it was funny that they had to work on there outings. Pick grapes, shovel coal and work in the barn. I loved the shots of the dejected woman. I especially liked the shot of Heidi slumped up next to the exit door. She was bitching about not getting the correct luggage to the butler. I thought the butlers comments were great at the end of the show. “I couldn’t find that bag quick enough.”
SXSW is heating up big time, tons of e-mails flying. I guess I will be working on Sponsorship needs at the shores. I will be working with Scott Durgan again this year. That will be fine, I worked with him the last few years I know his routine. I just hope Todd will be fine with my stepping away from helping to run the whole show. I just don’t have the time or the patience this year. I will be having a phone conference with Debra tonight regarding responsibilities for the front of house.
