Racing go carts last night

I am planning a little get together later in the month and went to scout out the location. Boy did I have a lot of fun!
You can race these go-carts around the track at speeds up to 45 miles per hour. Not an oval, a winding course grandprix style. I strapped on the safety harness, donned the helmet and I was off. Four laps and I kept getting faster. The first lap was a little slow as I tried to get the feeling for the machine. The second lap, I was more comfortable. By the time I hit number Four, I felt like a goddess of the track.
A friend told me about a place up in Round Rock that will give you lap speeds. Hum, I will need to do a little exploring. I have no idea of the name of the place, but I will put it on my adventure list. I do have this little list of things I want to do.
Note to self: Oh yah baby!
