Ok so work is still hectic, it hasn’t slowed a bit.

I headed home and took Saba for a stroll around the block. Did I mention it takes a bit of time to do this?

We have a regular route through the neighborhood. There is the short walk, the long walk and the extra long lap. We started out to do the long walk and ended up with girl scout cookies, a drink and lots of neighborly chat. It seems we can go a full block with out someone saying hi to us. It is funny, most people in the neighborhood know Sabas name but I doubt they know mine. We got caught up with the happenings at the house on the corner, what’s going on in the hood, how the kids are doing in school. It is always an adventure. I do love my neighborhood.

I got home and turned the stereo on. I loaded up all 5 CD’s and let it roll. I have an interesting mix in the player. Most are local musicians. Del Castillo, Guy Forsyth, Kevin Fowler, a band called Plum from Canada. I cleaned a little, ate a little, talked on the phone and then read myself to sleep. Just a nice relaxed evening. I like those once in a while.
