ACL Fest Day 2

Day 2 was a good, performers I saw Saturday: The South Austin Jug Band, Asleep at the Wheel, Endochine, Dandy Warhols, a tribute to Johnny Cash, Jimmy Lafave, Bruce Robinson, Ruthie Foster, Nickel Creek, and String Cheese Incident.
I kept meandering from stage to stage. I wanted to see a few friends (musicians) and hear some music that I normally don’t see. I felt like a tourist all during the shows. It is a different experience for me to just sit back, relax and enjoy the music. No radios, no clipboards and no star studded fits. I could come and go as I pleased and rater enjoyed the experience. I need to stop at Waterloo records and get a few CD’s I liked some of the bands so much I want to have there music on hand.
It started to rain quite a bit during Jimmy Lafave’s set and I got soaked by mid afternoon. Rode the bike home, hopped in the shower and under the covers and called it a night.
