ACL Day 3- I must be getting old

I kept watching the weather all day long. I woke up to full rain on Sunday morning and it started to let up as I headed out for church. I had planned on going down to the festival around 2:00 to see Lucinda Williams and some of the other bands.
When I got back from church, I turned on the TV and started to watch the NASCAR race, put the tape in so I could dash out the door at 2:00. I kept flipping on the weather channel during the commercials and there was a continuous green rain blob over Austin. OK I said to myself, I will give it another hour. On and on it went all afternoon and into the evening. I finally admitted to myself, I didn’t want to go stand in the rain and watch music. I guess I am getting older or smarter, but I just put my Pajamas on and spent the rest of the evening at the house. Today I am a little disappointed in myself, but I am not chilled to the bone, my feet were dry and life goes on. Two days of music was enough for me, I got to see a lot of music, had some fun and was satisfied with attending just 2 day of the ACL fest.
