Tuesday was a quiet day for me. I went into the office and then stopped down at the convention center. I caught the tail end of a panel and then was off home to get some stuff done. I was going to head to the Interactive Closing Party but I had a problem….
When I looked in the sponsor book that night to verify the location of the party I noticed who was sponsoring it. Well you all know I am working for the local police department and hope to get on full time with them. I just didn’t feel right about attending an event sponsored by the porn industry. Not that I am against all the technology they bring to the web, they are the one’s with money to invest in technology, but I just didn’t feel good about walking into that one. I could see my boss getting a call:” Boss lady we just saw your applicant going into a Porno Party”. I didn’t want to be in a position to have to explain that one! I decided to recharge my batteries, have dinner with Cranky and spend some quality time with Saba. I think it was a good decision on my part.
