What a nite it was!
04/17/2004

All dressed up, tux for B. and a gown for me. We ended up taking a little shuttle bus to the event, not a lot of parking options. We arrive at the lot and I think we are a bit overdressed, but when we arrive at the musuem that all changes.

Midlands finest all dolled up, coffed and in party mode. It was quite the eligant event. We had a fabulous dinner, lots of drinks and wine, and some excellent chocolate for desert. Socialized and schmoozed with lots of folks. They had a silent auction, I bid on an item for Brother, don't know yet if we got that one. It would be a nifty little gift for him. B. and I stayed until the last shuttle left, it was quite the party.

Today: if the weather holds, we will stop by for more festivities and head out of town to see the sand dunes. Not that far of a drive and something I would like to see.
