Ouch, Robby hits the wall.
05/11/2004
Indy practice was rain delayed for a couple of hours yesterday. Robby hit the turn one wall but says he is OK.
The safer walls helped diminish the damage to the driver and the car according to all the reports I read this morning. Yesterday he was 10th in speed at Indy but the plan was to “shake the car down”. Robby heads to the back up car for Indy practice this morning and then to Charlotte this afternoon for a cup tests. I will be watching times via the web today.
Monday, there was not much news today or yesterday. I just headed into the office and did a bit of work, some filing and some computer entry. I took the bus down town, with gas prices so high and the bus running right in front of the house, it seems silly not to take the $.050 ride. It works out fine, it is an easy commute, 10 minuets from the house to downtown, then walk about 5 blocks and I am at the big cop shop. I stopped and grabbed a cup of coffee on the way in. I was looking for a post office box to drop a resume in, but I noticed there are none between the bus stop and the cop shop. Hum, just a bit odd, dropped it in the one down the street on the way home.
Plans for today: I have no idea it's raining
