Tuesday update

Didn’t have much time to post over the weekend and then Monday got filled up. I headed down to the Thunderhill Raceway on Saturday night. I know the Nextel All Star race was on but it wasn’t a point race and we do need to support out local tracks.
Cranky taped the race for me. It took to tapes with all the cautions and red flags. I am about ½ was through the tapes and might just pop the second one in after I get done tonight. I did see some of the highlights on the news sites but I still want to watch the race. Well I know Robby didn’t do to well in the All Star race, I caught a bit of it on the web sites but I am going to hold off commenting until I see the rest of the tape.
Thunderhill was a good time; I always enjoy the local short tracks. We have some good drivers that put on a good show. I did purchase a chance to drive one of the cars in the newest series there. They have cars, older ones they grab from the junk yard, under 1,000 that are racing in the last race of the night. It was billed as the inexpensive way to get into racing. It was a lot of fun to watch, there was sheet metal flying and the boys and girls had a lot of fun. Some day…..
