Sunday at home for the Cup race.

I headed out of Fort Worth early on Sunday morning to get back to town for the NASCAR Cup race on TV.
I managed to hear the 1300 AM radio show on my drive back to town, there is a motor sports hour on Sunday morning, but I usually don’t get to hear it since I am in church. I did enjoy the local spin on the races, the host, Chuck had some great sound bites from the TMS races. I have heard a lot about this radio show but it was the first time I got to listen.
I managed to get settled in with Saba and popped the VCR into the TV as the race started. I was a bit tired from the drive and thought I might just nap a bit during the race. Well it happened, I managed to drift in and out for sleep for the race. I did see the start and the finish but missed the middle of the race. I will watch it later on tonight. Robby finished 8th and moved up 1 place in the point standings. Jimmie Johnson got the win and it looks like Dale Jarrett lost an engine in the last part of the race.
I am going to be doing some stuff around the house today before I head into work. I need to move some plants around, I am going to head to the big box hardware store for a few supplies and look at lawn mowers. I don’t know what is going on with the lawn guys, but my yard isn’t mowed and it is looking a bit ratty. I think it’s time to just handle this chore myself.
