Robby Gordon nails 5th for the Cup qualifying and Brandon Miller nails 5th for the Busch car
06/18/2004

It’s a great start to the weekend. I was hoping they would do well this week, but it looks great. Me, I am a bit tired, but managed to get almost a full week of work in.

I was doing my old job for this week and start training at my new job on Monday morning. I am excited, a bit nervous and looking forward to it. It will be a big change for me for a few weeks. I will be doing the early, early shift. Yup, up before the sun makes its way into the sky. Oh well after a bit of training, I will be back to a slacker schedule, mid morning to mid evening. That should suite me just fine.

It has been a bit hectic, I was caught off guard by the full time position coming up so quickly. My house is a bit of a mess, I need to do laundry and grocery shopping and pick up some other items. But that’s what weekends are made for, doing stuff. It will be nice to have a regular schedule, set hours, weekends and holidays off. Just like normal folks. The job is all I was asking for: weekends off, no holidays and downtown. I am taking the bus into work, that has been an adventure, I don’t have time to write about it tonight, but don’t worry, the stories will come. I am having a bunch of ladies over the house and need to get situated.
