ride in a race car and free agent status

I headed down to Thunder Hill last night and to to ride in one of the cars after the kiddie rides were done. He he, haven't been in a race car is quite a while. It was a lot of fun, brought back a few memories. We laped the track a few times, only got up to 3500 rpm so it wasn't very fast. There were other "kids" on the track so the dirver had to keep the speed down.
Robby's contract is up at the end of the year and rumors abound about where he is going to end up. RCR, JG or his own team.. to be continued. I wish I had the inside track on where he is going to end up. I just hope if he changes teams, we end up with somthing other than Orange. I like the frut of the loom racing gear (blue backgroud), better than the 31 colors, Orange is just not my color. Gee Robby, I gess you should make your career decision on what I look good in Hugh? Yah right.
Not a lot going on in my little world. I picked up the computer from the shop on Wednesday, had to bring it back on Saturday. Dam it, the fix didn't work. I am a tad frustrated with that whole ordeal. Waiting to hear from Dad, the hurricane passed about 100 miles south of him, the electric is back on at his place last night, the answering machine picked up, but I didn't make contract with him yet. Sounded like he had his hands full with Step Monster, she was in an a tizzy about the strorm.
I am heading out to the bar to watch the road race today. I am going to check the weather before I head out, looks like it might be rain delayed. Robby had the second fastest 2nd practice speed yesteday but starts from the back again. Wonder if the spotter is going to be working today? We will see.
I got some photos of Mom's remodel project in the mail. I am glad she sent them, the kitchen looks great! I think if I had to go home and opened up the door, I would have thought I was in the wrong house.
The laundry buzzer is going off, I am going to be late for church so..
