That is one of the first things I thought about when I read the news Jr. was bolting from DEI.
That would make an interesting team wouldn’t it? Jr. could bring in the sponsorship money, Robby could supply the cars and the fireworks could start. I doubt it would ever happen, I think Jr. might go to a larger team. I am sure he is considering all the offers and his telephone is ringing off the hook
I applaud Dale Jr’s decision. I don’t think Theresa Earnhardt thought this negotiation through: Dale Senior and Dale Jr. were her money making machines. I would imagine with the licensing rights and the merchandise sales for Jr. alone there is enough money to fund a team. Have you ever counted the number of Jr. trailers in the midway? The number of Jr. fans in the seats? I wonder if he is going to start his own team.
