Houston or Fort Worth?
10/16/2007

I am not sure where I will end up this weekend.

There is an off road race in Fort Worth at the dirt track on Friday and Saturday, there is a TSRS race on Saturday night on the asphalt. I am torn what track to go to. I don’t think I could do both, Fort Worth on Friday and Houston on Saturday night. Hum, it might be possible, but that would be a lot of driving between tracks.

I headed down to Kyle on Saturday night for local racing. It was the second to last race of the season due to early season rain outs. The points races are tight in all the classes. You could tell the drivers were extra aggressive this weekend: there were a lot of cautions before the 1st lap. Restart after restart and from double file to single file when they just couldn’t get it right.

One of the drivers didn’t show up this weekend. He missed the last race, I though he might have headed up to Kansas for the Nascar race, but his car and crew were not to be seen on Saturday night. I wonder what is going on. He is such a competitive racer, something must be wrong. I will try to find out this week.

I recorded Saturday’s night race, but when I got home from the track, it was still going on. I watched the last couple of cautions, restarts and the green/white/checkered finish. I was going to watch the rest of the race on Sunday, but I got a bit distracted. I will probably watch it this afternoon. I am out from work for a couple of days. I managed to get the crud, it seems to be going around work. I played a bit too hard the week before and it bit me. Drat!
