Saba’s doing drugs.

My buddy hurt himself! I got home from my trip and Saba and I headed down to the park for a long walk and a bit of reflecting for me. I noticed he was not as spunky as usual. He was having trouble with one of his legs. He is such a boy, kept going and I wondered if he had just stepped on something. We walked part of the hike and bike trail, headed up the observation hill and the view is awesome. I am so glad that I had a little part in getting Town Lake Park moving through the city quagmire. I like watching all the people enjoy the fountain, the views and it will just get better over the years. There are more plantings to be done, a bit more landscaping, but it is quite a lovely spot in its current state.
When we got home, I was keeping an eye on Saba and he was still having a bit of trouble. I checked his paws, nothing in his pads so I did a bit of bend and stretch with his legs. Yup, something was wrong. I ended up taking Saba to the vet on Monday, along with my other appointments and he had an exam and an x-ray done. He is on bed rest for a couple of weeks, some anti inflammatory drugs and I had to pick up some over the counter supplements for him. When I got home last night, between work and yoga he seemed much better. After my class, witch was fabulous btw; he was his perky self again. I guess the drugs are working.
I was doing a bit of searching on the web this morning, a vanity search for me and looking for someone else. I think I found the person, someone from my CT past. I will drop an email and see if I get a response. Sometimes I wonder just how much of my live end up on the web. I was digging and saw an article from the ’00 presidential elections; I stopped and saved a copy for me. I guess it is a vanity thing, but I figure someday I will want to see it again. How often do you search your own name on the web? Me I check every few months.
It’s off to the world of cops, bad guys and paperwork this morning. I have to say my desk was piled high with cases yesterday. I think I spent about ½ the afternoon just filing. The exterminator showed up (YAH!). I am going to get some instruction and access to a program I have been wanting for a year. I double checked with the new boss, just to make sure he knew the history and understood the prior objections, but he had it from on high I was to get the access. I guess some of the changes are going to be good, it allows others to take a look at the process and reevaluate some of the decisions.
