It’s a lazy Sunday morning at Casa de Devota.

The morning came early and I was watching the sun rise on the back porch with a cup of coffee.
I didn’t go back out last night after the shelter party, just curled up and watched television with Saba and fell sound asleep. The laundry in almost done and the floors are swept up, the beds changed and now it is me time.
I don’t know what to do with myself today: I could adventure off to a park with Saba, I could get to some paperwork that is piling up or I could just take a me day. I think that is what I will do. I have a good book that needs reading: I have some time to do it today. The winter season is the off season for auto racing. I only read the racing sites once or twice a week, not much news going on. There are very few races to be watched in December but the Dakar race will begin January 2nd. That is a highlight for the January for me. Robby Gordon has packed up his race truck and it is on its way to the race.
I will probably plan out my trip to Fl today. I think it will be Mom’s first, then Dads and then back home. I need to see what is the quickest way to Mom’s then back track from there to Dad’s and see if I can plan a stop or two on the way out and back for Saba and I.
For some reason I am not all that excited about my cross country drive this year. I guess I feel pressured to do it. I prefer to do my traveling on non holiday time, the roads are less crowded, less traffic and fewer travelers looking for accommodations.
