Great Driving Robby Gordon!
6th or 7th? Either way that was some awesome driving in the last laps of the race. The number 6 was getting into you and you held on. The wreck was waiting to happen: it should have been a bit earlier but Robby held onto the wheel and kept going forward as the wreck happened further back in the pack.
It was an exciting race, lots of torn up cars at the green/white/checkered finish. I could hear the excitement in Robby’s voice and the spotters tone as the race progressed. I was watching on Race Buddy and it was 2 laps behind the scanner at most points of the race. A bit annoying but I knew what I was looking for as the video played. The big last lap wreck: somehow the delay got sped up and I didn’t see it until this morning on the replays. Wow, great job, good day for the 7 team.
It will be interesting to see if the scoring gets changed when it becomes official on Monday morning. It seems there are some drivers and crew chief’s not so happy with the scoring folks right now. The video shows one lineup and the scoring placed them in different spots.
