There is something falling from the sky,

My plants are dancing, I think its rain.
I got a little damp on the way to work yesterday, it started as a sprinkle and when I was turning the corner for work, up went the umbrella and my feet got a bit wet. I didn’t mind, I didn’t gripe. We haven’t seen a lot of rain in TX this year.
That was the mood in the office yesterday, wet and dreary. I am disappointed, something I thought was caught on tape, wasn’t. I had to write up what I was told, try to recall the conversation and stick it in a report a few days later and hope the detective can clarify the information. There were multiple meetings yesterday, no one seemed very happy.
A friend stopped by the office and sat with me as I had my lunch. She had jury duty next door at the municipal court. She knows from my griping that parking is always difficult so she headed down early to find a spot. It was a nice distraction, nice to get caught up. I walked her through the back door of the court. I got the OK as long as I would vouch for her. She has a key to my house, so I guess I trust her enough to bypass court security.
Saba and I headed to the park after I answered a few emails at home. There weren’t a lot of other people or dogs there, the sky was still overcast. We stopped at the grocery on the way home and then settled in for the night.
It looks like I will have to doge lots of raindrops on the way in. I am going to pull out my raincoat, bring an extra pair of shoes for today. Its fine, I am not whining, it’s just raining.
