New flowers, old bike.

Recharging me.

I had a very quiet weekend, bought some plants they were on clearance. I forgot this one store had a clearance rack of plants. I will have to stop back next week and take a look. I want to get the gardens looking good for the fall and it’s an economical way to do it. If I buy a couple a week, I should be on track with my gardens.

Saba and I went to the park, we watched racing and cleaned up the yard. I got my bicycle tires pumped back up and then I stopped at the big box store. I wanted to pick up a few things for my bicycle: a new light and a new helmet. It looks like the bus company will go on strike anytime now and I still need to get to the office. Getting there is easy; it’s the hill on the way home that causes me problems.

I put a couple of the plants in the ground this morning. It was cool out and I woke up way to early. I grabbed the shovel out of the shed and got to work as the sun was coming up. I have a few more to plant but they will have to wait until later in the week. They are going out front, but I need to do some work on those beds first.

I feel recharged; having some down time did me good. Working in the garden always recharges me. I am ready to face the world this morning with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.
