Racing, work, life and shopping.

Racing:
Felix, Chip and Teresa are forming a partnership, that sounds scary to me. There will be lots of egos in that mix. A four car team: combining resources and a shop. I assume there would be some very interesting Monday morning shop meetings after the race.

I saw that a local racer, Brad Coleman is out of a ride, Hall of Fame Racing let him go. That’s a shame, he took a chance on a cup ride instead of staying with a Nationwide ride and it didn’t work out. Carry Stapp the ASA champion is getting ready to head out next week for his tryout with Joe Gibbs racing at the South Boston Speedway. Nice photo of the car he will drive and a press release sent last week. Best of luck to Carry, I would love to see a local Saturday night racer get a break in Cup.

Life:
I headed out for an early birthday dinner get together with a friend last night. It was a lot of fun to get caught up. IT is still causing me problems, yesterday was a bit challenging all day long.

Work:
I had to keep my mouth shut yesterday. I woke up on the angry side of the bed where work is concerned. There are still a lot of things I don’t agree with, but my thoughts don’t count. I am not the boss, I don’t make the decisions.

Shopping:
I headed down to the outlet mall on Tuesday afternoon. I found lots of bargains, but no new shoes. I was able to pull in and find a parking spot without circling the lot. There were a whole lot of empty parking spots. The economy sure is tanking: not a lot of bags in hands of shoppers that were there.
