Bundled up in Texas: snow here last night.

I had one of those days yesterday. I was running late, missed the bus, missed the second bus and had to drive into work. I circled the parking lot for 15 minuets looking for a spot with no luck when one of the homeless men waived me over. He saw a spot someone was leaving from. I waited for the man to leave, grabbed the spot and then slipped the homeless guy a dollar. I know I shouldn’t have to pay to park. I know its illegal for them to charge for parking during the day, but he helped me out yesterday. I got to my desk and it just kept getting stranger all day long.

There was gossip and rumors, some snickering going on. There were a few phone calls to be returned and some paperwork to straighten out. Something caught my eye and left me puzzled as the day wore on. There was a comment made Monday and I finally put it all together. I had one of these Oh My Gosh moments as I ran a search through my data base. Wow, what I suspected was actually true. I have witnessed it, watched it unfold but now before my eyes the proof. I am going to hold that information tight to my self for a little bit.

I headed home and headed back out the door to my yoga class. I managed to tip over only a couple of times. A few of the moves required some adaptation on my part. I will muddle through, get it done. As I headed out the door, quite to my surprise there was sleet falling from the sky. I called to warn T. as she was driving home from her sisters and I figured she would run into it. I drove carefully home and as I was getting ready for bed I looked out the window and there was snow. Saba and I went out on the porch. It doesn’t snow very often here; I am in South Texas so it’s a treat. As I type this morning, looking out the window, it has disappeared but I know it was there last night.
