Still here, just taking a break.

I have lots going on in my little world that I can’t or will not share: mostly work stuff and IT stuff.
I worked for part of the night and the morning on Sunday. I should have a nice check coming with 6 hours of OT on it. It was a bit more than normal, but I didn’t feel I could leave earlier with out leaving a bit of a mess. Things got confusing at the office.
I have been working hard to try to smile and laugh each day. Some days it’s more difficult that others. I have to say, Saba can get me to smile at least twice a day: in the morning and in the evening. It sure is nice having a buddy like him. I was feeling a bit low on Saturday and he stayed with me, curled up next to me on the bed. He forced me to take him for a walk on Sunday afternoon and I have to admit, I felt better afterwards. I stopped for a waffle after the park and he was happy to wait for me (the slice of bacon helped a bit too). Sometimes he has to drag me off to the park, but it sure makes him happy.
I am anxiously waiting for my appointment on Thursday with the super sub specialist. I hope we can figure some more out about IT. I am sure getting tired of IT and I find I am getting a bit down after it has been dragging out for 9 months. Some parts are better, some are worse. I thought we had a target date of February but I think that’s going to get pushed back further.
