A day off,

I was off yesterday due to the MLK Holiday
It sure was nice to have the extra day. I did a bit of running around, a bit of shopping and had some down time in the afternoon. I managed to get Saba to the park in the evening and got him run down. We did a couple of laps around the park. It was a lovely evening and there were a lot a people out.
I tired to stop at the grocery twice yesterday, but the parking lots were packed. I skipped the run and will have to do it later in the week. I don’t know where all those people are coming from. I think the store I frequent gets a lot of downtown traffic, but there wasn’t a singe spot available in the lot last night. Is it just a Monday thing? I guess since Cranky and I don’t do the shopping adventure anymore, I will try to re-schedule to another night. Perhaps Wednesday will be a bit better. I will give it a try and see this week.
I am not looking forward to heading back to the office. I found that my desire to head in is decreasing day by day. I heard there was a job posted that would have been nice; it was promised to someone else.
