SXSW is starting.

Guests are arriving and the excitement is about to start.
I spent the early evening with a cohort of John's, a nice young man for Australia, David S. I grabbed him up from his hotel, we did a bit of site seeing and grabbed a bit of dinner. He also is a tech guy, a bit of a geek and it was wonderful to get to know him. I think he was surprised that I went out of my way to spend some time with him. I dropped David back at his hotel and headed to the airport.
I met John B. at the airport last night: he is friend that I know I will see at least once a year. After a bit of confusion on the flights, I found him at baggage claim and the adventure began. John is a tech boy: very smart, very cutting edge and just a nice guy. I always enjoy the time we get to spend in person. He will be tied up doing business and networking for the next few days so I wanted to make sure we got some time together.
It wasn’t the fancy meal we were planning on, but is sure was a nice time just chatting. We got caught up on our life adventures. The late night places were packed so we ended up with drive up, but with John, it’s the company that matters, not the abidance. It was car food, laughter and of course a lot of smiles for our late night adventure.
I crawled into bed and was fast asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.
