Shopping and a stroll down Congress Ave.
TR was just getting home as I was getting up; she had a great night and was full of stories as she headed to bed. I was surfing the internet, doing my morning stuff and then I headed out to Yoga and the dollar store: I picked up some potting soil and decided I am going to do a vegetable garden. I was going to intersperse the plants in the current garden, but came to the conclusion they need their own spot. I have a bunch of seeds, a few plants and it will be a great growing experiment.
I got back to the house to find TR was awake and she had a mission: Cavender’s and Waterloo Records for her western wear and Austin music shopping. We headed out for western wear first and then to a barbeque and a stop at the record store. After a bit of down time, we headed out with Saba for a stroll down Congress Ave. looking for dinner.
We tired to get a slice of Pizza and I am frustrated with that pizza shop: every time I try to get a slice, it’s the wrong time. We ambled down the Ave. and on the way past a local hot spot, we ran into some friends that play in a band. We stopped and had a bit of bar food, some drinks and laughter and then it was an excursion to The Hole in the Wall to drop them off. All of us piled into the car: Saba riding as my co-pilot heading up Guadalupe. It was the perfect ending to a fun filled week: music, friendship and a little adventure for Saba and I.
